Paper submission

The Paper Submission Site is now closed.
(The information on this page is kept for reference only)

As with previous 3DIM conferences, the entire paper submission and review process is electronic.

The Proceedings will be  published by the IEEE Computer Society Press, and will be available on-site. A CD-ROM of the Proceedings will be included.

To submit a paper for the Special Session on Heritage Applications:

The papers follow the same rules as the normal conference. Conference proceeding will include the papers selected for this special session. Papers that don't clearly show how 3-D imaging supports the conservation, restoration and diffusion of heritage will be transfered to the main conference review process.

Formating instructions:

Papers submitted for review must follow  the IEEE CS Press Proceedings two-column format. The maximum paper length for review as well as for publication is 8 pages.

Electronic manuscripts must be submitted in Adobe Acrobat PDF format, readable with at least version 5.0.x (English) of Acrobat Reader. In exceptional circumstances, PostScript files will be accepted and converted to PDF: you must contact the conference in advance if you intend to do so.

For LaTeX users:  If you are still using LaTeX 2.09 (and .sty files), you are strongly urged to switch to LaTeX2e and the New Font Selection System. The fonts provided by the times package are slightly narrower than the CM fonts, thus making it easier to fit your ideas in 8 pages. PDF files created with only Type 1 Fonts will be of much nicer appearance on screen. We provide a LaTeX class and some conversion information that should assist you in preparing your paper for review (NOTE: please make sure you use the latest version of this class).
